My toilet is pluged,and when I use the plunger the toilet water comes up and out the bath tub drain.?

All you simply have to do is have another person plug the bathtub while you plunge the toilet. Prefferably use another plunger if you have one (with a little water in the tub, if there isn't already, just to form a seal) If no second plunger, use a wet rag to completely cover the drain in the tub and apply pressure.My toilet is pluged,and when I use the plunger the toilet water comes up and out the bath tub drain.?
this could be tricky.don't forget you have a clean pipe on the roof too. it adds about 16 to 20 feet to your snake length. or more if you have a second story house.have you tried all your drains with water? kitchen, washing machine, all sinks, all drains, and all vents. the vents are usually on the roof. not to be confused with heat vents. they are just pipes with no covers. if possible, pressurize all drains and vent pipes. i've used duct tape and two air compressors to blow out my main drain. because i had the same problem as you. but i had no snake, but i did have knowledge of the problem and plenty of pressurized air. now your clean out has to have a cap on it. drill a 3/8 in. hole in the middle of the cap for your air to fit in. air can be forced in, and then it comes back. by doing that over and over you are moving the water(clog) back and forth just like a plunger. or try buy all your Friends plungers, and have them all come over and everyone plunge a drain, vent pipe, sink, something? all at the same time. it's all about getting the water(clog) to move back and forth. or dissolve it with DRANO. or LIQUID FIRE.My toilet is pluged,and when I use the plunger the toilet water comes up and out the bath tub drain.?

that just means the plug is in the plumbing after the spot where the toilet and tub hook in. There is often a clean out after that point but prior to the main drain pipe entering into the ground. If you loosen the cap on the clean out and slowly remove it you will quickly learn whether the blockage is before or after that point. If it is before then use a snake from the toilet. If it is after use the snake from the clean out.
You have a clog in the main drain line, after the toilet drain. You need to have it augered out.
the plug is somewhere past where the toilet and tub connect. The drain needs to be snaked.

your main drain line is cloged somewhere....you need to rent a power snake from the hardware store or call someone to clean it out but that could cost you about 200 bucks
