Why wall sconces are not allowed next to a bath tub and why can't they be GFCI wired?

They can be GFCI wired, but I still wouldn't install them in


close proximity to the bath tub.


That GFCI is like the safety on a loaded gun.


Even with the safety on, you don't point the thing at your head.
