I heard it from someone at work ~ I just wasn't sure if that's true.Is it true when youre pregnant your not supposed to take hot bath or go in a hot tub?
The hot tub part is true (and it applies to saunas and tanning beds too!). However, you can still take a nice warm bath.
The belief used to be that bacteria would inter the uterus if a pregnant woman was submerged in a tub of water. This has been proved false.
The current reasoning is the elevated maternal body temperature can be harmful to the developing fetus.
The rule of thumb is...if you are sweating, it is too hot for the baby!Is it true when youre pregnant your not supposed to take hot bath or go in a hot tub?
Yes, as it can make the fetus' body temperature rise and cause problems with the pregnancy and the baby.
It is true. Your water is only supposed to be a certain degree while bathing and hot tubs are absolutely forbidden. Baths are great for you while pregnant but make sure the water isn't too hot.
There is a potential danger to the developing fetus if your body temperature rises above 102 degrees. You can raise your body temperature to this level by getting a fever, by exercising too strenuously, working outside on hot summer days, and so on.
yes it is true... it can raise your temp to much for the baby.
nothing over 100 degrees. It raises your blood pressure which isnt good for the baby.
All true!
Yes it is true.. The reason being anything that can raise your body temp over 101 is harmfull to the baby.. You can however take a warm bath, but watch the water temp. and what ever you do dont let your body temp rise..
Yes, the baby is not able to regulate it's own body temperature.
you can take a bath just not more than 10mins and if u feel like something is wrong u have to get out..just make sure the water isnt over the body tempature
