My dog, a german shepherd collie mix, has to be bathed at least once a week. He has really bad allergies and this is the only way to help his skin. In the summer he has an outside tub that we use. But in the winter it is too cold for him to get a bath outside. So I have to give it to him in the tub. I put several towels down for him and have a thing to cover the drain to prevent hair from going down. He doesn't get his bath in the main shower I use. But I do use it occassionally. I use a bathroom cleaner as soon as I am done and scrub until it is sqeaky, I mean that literally, clean. My vet told me this is really the best way to do it, other than usinga professional dog tub, which I don't have.Do you think it is a good idea to bath your dog (german Shepherd) in the bath tub that you bath in?
I bathe my beagel (and all my cats).. in the bath tub we use.
Just make sure you wash and scrub it down with cleaner right after.Do you think it is a good idea to bath your dog (german Shepherd) in the bath tub that you bath in?
I have 2 Labs and my vet says the bath tub is okay to bathe them in. After all, they're part of the family...
I would just make sure that you clean the tub w/ a good antibacterial cleaner when you are done. Like Fantastic,Scrubbing Bubbles, or a product w/ bleach.
It is not advisable to share the bath tub with ur pets. Firstly, animals skin and furs consist of lots of microbs and insects that u may alergy to it. Ur maybe even infected by certain skin disease.
