have you had her to the vet to be checked out for a urinary tract infection....odds are that is the reason that she is peeing there. get her to the vet today. My cat keeps peeping in the bath tub? how can i stop her ? she poops in the liter box just fine?
My cat does the same thing, they are attracted to moist, smelly things and you take a bath for a reason to get clean and if you don't keep your tube clean they'll keep doing it. I have also when away to keep odor away is to fill a little bit of water in the tub too that is a great suggestion. My cat keeps peeping in the bath tub? how can i stop her ? she poops in the liter box just fine?
Why would you want to stop this? I think it's awesome your cat is peeing in the tub. I wish my cats would have done this. Cat pee is way worse than cat poop. It's in the tub, all you have to do is rinse it down! Sooo easy.
Just to make sure she does NOT have a Urinary tract Infection, take her to the vet.
BTW -- if her litterbox is not scooped after she uses it, her litterbox will start to stink (it's like us humans-- don't we FLUSH each time we use the toilet? If we didn't, then it would STINK) -- and if her litterbox is stinky, she may very well look for another place to pee.

Fill the bathtub with an inch or so of water. You may want to also fill the sink as a precautionary measure.
I am currently toilet-training two kittens and one of mine had taken up pooping in the tub a few months ago -- I started leaving the tub filled at all times, and after one splash in the middle of the night, she has never attempted to do it again! (I no longer keep the tub or my sink filled with water - it only took 2 days to break her habit!)
Good luck with your troublesome girl!
Sounds like she has a bladder infection. She needs a vet visit.
Make sure you are keeping her box very clean. Scooping daily and washing and refillng with fresh litter every week.
the second i get out of the shower my cat has to come and check out the tub. its wierd but harmless i guess.
This is really weird. Perhaps she likes the feeling of the tub. You could try shutting the door to the bathroom, but she may end up peeing elsewhere. You could also try something textured in the tub, like xmats (you can find mats that are similar for way cheaper though) and put them in the tub... You are lucky at least that she's going in the tub and not anywhere else!
Also try putting the litter box in the tub and slowly moving it further away every day. See if she goes in it when its in the tub...
do you notice any blood in the urine? she may have UTI.
Alikonda has it!
