Okay so every time I go to take a bath my cat runs up to the tub and paws at the side of the tub?

Lots of cats like to play in water--bat at it. He's probably a little intimidated by the size of your pool of water so he's keeping his distance. Some cats play in the toilet, too, so keep the lid down.





I've had several cats that loved to play in the tub after the water was drained. Big mess because their paws are never quite spotless. But it's fun and fun to watch.
Ha! That's cute. My cat sits on the edge of the tub while i'm in the shower, she just like to watch the water. My cat also likes to sit on the edge of tables with her front paws hanging off, then she holds them up like she's praying, it's wierd. It's just his thing, i guess.
My 2 female cats love water! its rare for any cat to like water. Ive had plenty in my life. They jump on the sink while Im doing the dishes or up in the bathroom playing in the sink, tub or the toilet! Its normal, but rare to have a cat that does that. I think its kool having a cat like that!
When we take baths, Charlie likes to reach over to play in the water or walk along the edge of the tub. He loves baths.
