If it is a porcelain enameled steel tub, and it has rusted through, you will have to replace it. There is no way to repair it. If you have a ceramic tile surround, you will have to tear out at least 4 rows of tile, in order to remove the old tub, and install the new one. You can buy a resin called ';Knead It';. There are three grades, select the right grade to suit the material that you bath is made of . Clean around the hole to remove any flaky rust or grease (soap) etc. and follow the instructions on the package of resin and when it is set paint over it with porcelain repair paint. It should work as I have used it in similar situation.
I think you can buy bathtub repair kits at home improvement or hardware stores. You should check out Home Depot or Lowes.
